Clamping levers clamp and fixate workpieces and other objects e.g. on machines. The great advantages of the KIPP clamping levers are the tool-free installation and the rapid adjustment possibility.
The functioning principle of a clamping lever is very simple: When the grip is lifted up, internal toothed rings situated between the grip and body disengage. The grip can now be freely rotated without the body rotating with it. When the grip is released, the two toothed rings re-engage and the grip is once more connected to the body. When the grip is now rotated, the body rotates with it. Machine parts, components and workpieces can now be unclamped and positioned.
