NEW: Chain clamps from KIPP for workpieces with irregular contours

HEINRICH KIPP WERK has expanded its product range with chain clamps. These are used primarily in machine and plant construction to clamp and fixate workpieces that have complex contours or irregular shapes. Custom-made clamping elements are no longer required.
  • KIPP offers two chain clamp types with clamping forces of 15 kN or 40 kN, each of which are supplied with a clamping hook, a clamping bracket, four roller chains, four chain links, six plastic elements and a securing set for clamping chains.

  • Roller chains are also available separately in other lengths so that users can flexibly adapt to diverse workpiece diameters and shapes.

  • In addition, turnbuckle's are also available. It is recommended that these are used with chains longer than three metres.

  • KIPP also has 120° prisms in its range which can be flexibly positioned on the machine table.
Clamping with chains has many advantages – they enable uniform force distribution and comparatively distortion-free clamping. Plastic elements are supplied to protect the workpiece surface. Users also profit from the wide adjustment range and high clamping force. The chain clamps are mounted on machine tools or tooling plates using fastening screws and T-slot keys.
