Clamping levers from KIPP

HEINRICH KIPP WERK has been regarded as the leading manufacturer of clamping levers for decades. For this reason they are also known as KIPP levers. The models from KIPP stand for reliability, stability and versatility - both at home and internationally. Clamping levers are not only used in machine construction, they are also used in the rehabilitation sector and in logistics.

How the clamping lever works

Clamping levers clamp and fixate workpieces and other objects e.g. on machines. The great advantages
of the KIPP clamping levers are the tool-free installation and the rapid adjustment possibility.

The functioning principle of a clamping lever is very simple: When the grip is lifted up, internal toothed rings situated between the grip and body disengage. The grip can now be freely rotated without the body rotating with it. When the grip is released, the two toothed rings re-engage and the grip is once more connected to the body. When the grip is now rotated, the body rotates with it. Machine parts, components and workpieces can now be unclamped and positioned.

Properties and types of clamping lever

The many different types of clamping levers that you can find in the KIPP range reflect the wide variety of uses and applications for these levers. All of our versions are available as clamping levers with female thread and clamping levers with male thread.
