For our environment!
MCHP - ever heard of one?

A micro combined heat and power plant - in short: MCHP, functions like an engine which drives a generator and thereby produces electricity.

At HEINRICH KIPP WERK, the MCHP is heat-controlled and therefore primarily a heating system,
which supplies electricity in addition to heat.

The waste heat from the compressors, which fill the buffer tanks using compressed air, is used to supplement the building heating and the hot water supply.

In summer, the heat is converted into cold by the adsorption plants and used to cool our production machines.

With the additional energy we generate electricity. This is fed into the public grid.

A micro-cogeneration plant is state-subsidised, because the MCHP extremely effectively converts the resources used into usable energy.

Thanks to our combined heat and power plant, we at
HEINRICH KIPP WERK save 226 tonnes of CO2 per year.
This corresponds to the annual consumption of circa 25 people in Germany.
