Expansion module for the KIPP 5-axis compact clamping system
Ideal for different clamping situations
With its "5-axis compact clamping system", KIPP is setting new standards when it comes to machining complex workpieces on modern 5-axis machines. Its key feature is the new clamping technology it contains. Separating the clamping force from the workpiece support ensures that substantially better clamping values can be achieved.
Modular expansions that are able to accommodate a range of clamping situations are now being added to the system:
• New baseplates for machines with small tables.
• Two workpieces can be clamped thanks to new middle jaws.
• Clamping of oblique workpieces thanks to new pendulum jaws.
• Connection of two "KIPP 5-axis compact clamping systems" thanks to the "coupling for cross-clamping" element.
• Clamping of round workpieces thanks to the new cylinder clamping set.
All jaw plates are aligned and fastened using two countersunk screws. This enables quick replacement of smooth jaws with the cylinder clamping set – and vice versa.
